70 Sellers And More Became Crorepatis After Flipkart’s 3days Festive Season Sale!

After the pandemic and unlock people are more prone to shop online and this time Flipkart’s sellers had made it big. Almost 70 sellers had become crorepatis after 3 days of festive sale!

The first three days of Flipkart’s festive season sales have made 70 sellers become crorepatis due to high sales and around 10,000 sellers have also become lakhpatis. Yes, this time online shopping is getting a different peak.

Reportedly, Flipkart has also confirmed that the sellers are doing huge business and the first three days of the Big Billion sale have been good for the sellers.

Reports even claimed that there are over 3 lakh sellers on Flipkart’s platform out of which 60 percent belong to tier-2 and beyond cities which made a way for customers to shop in the first three days of the Big Billion sale.

Now, Flipkart claims that its seller base reaches out has expanded almost 20 percent this year and totals not less than 3,000 pin codes. The sellers have even witnessed sharp growth this year due to the changing scenario and changed people’s preferences. It is also reported that the sale that they had in these 3 days of the Big Billion Sale is equal to the growth that they got during six days of the event in 2019.

Household products and personal care kinds of stuff were the few highlights this year. They got the bulk demand for household and personal care which changed their sales figures. This rise in sales is not only good news for Flipkart but also for the sellers on its platform. They are expected to have benefits as many people shop online amid the ongoing situation.

One of the biggest reasons for the high sales this year is the current scenario as people from remote and small villages are even trying to opt for online services due to its reach to their places. On the other hand, Flipkart has also reached many areas to reach out to almost every place in the states.

In one of the earlier reports, Flipkart mentioned that before the Big Billion festive season started they claimed that they have got more than 36 million new application downloads by customers across the country. This has indicated to them that people from smaller cities are participating more and this year they will be more prone to the year’s festive sales.

Surprisingly it is reported that just within the first 72 hours of the Big Billion festive days, Flipkart noticed a 60 percent increase in digital payment transactions in comparison to non-festive event days. This increase in transactions has intimated them about people’s probability and preference to shop online this year has increased.

The festive sale in several e-commerce websites is always attracting people across the globe but this year because of the COVID-19 outbreak people are shopping more online and the sales have been doubled on these e-commerce platforms.
