Akshay Kumar Announces His Next Film Ram Setu For The First Time On Twitter
Akshay Kumar wishes Diwali and announced a new movie "Ram Setu". The actor shared the first poster for the film. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma.

Akshay Kumar went on Twitter on Saturday to announce his upcoming film Ram Setu. In the poster, the actor wears a long hairstyle with a saffron-colored scarf around his neck. You seem to be walking on a narrow strip of land that divides the apparent ocean. There is a picture of Lord Ram at the bottom of the poster.
Ram Setu is directed by Abhishek Sharma, whose film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari premiered on November 15th.
This Deepawali,let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come.

The announcement came on the occasion of Diwali when Kumar's message read: "This Deepawali, let us strive to keep the ideals of Ram alive in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas."

Kumar is co-producing the film with Abduntia and Vikram Malhotra. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is the creative producer of the film. Plot and casting details are yet to be announced.
Kumar just released his first digital version, Laxmii. Laxmii, the official Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kanchana, follows the journey of an innocent man possessed by two vengeful ghosts to seek justice for his murders.
He's also finished shooting one of his next films, Bell Bottom in Scotland. The actor resumed filming of the period drama Prithviraj. The former Miss World Manushi Chillar plays the role of Princess Sanyogita opposite him.
Kumar also has an action-comedy called Bachchan Pandey and Sooryavanshi by Rohit Shetty on his channel.
