JIO download speeds dropped in October: Trai

According to data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio saw its average download speed drop by 1.5 Mbps in October. Telco, headquartered in Mumbai, still maintains its lead at 17.8 Mbps in 4G download speeds. This was 95 percent faster than the average download speed of 9.1 Mbps offered by Idea, which finished second in the race. In terms of upload speed, Xiao failed to show any magic and as a result, developed flat. Significantly, TRAI, despite the merger last year, is treating Vodafone and Idea as separate telcos on its MySpeed portal.

The latest data available on the MySpeed portal by TRAI shows that JIO continued its lead in 4G download speeds in October, with an average download speed of 17.8 Mbps. However, it was lower than the 19.1 Mbps speed recorded in September. After JIO, the Idea maintained its second position with a speed of 9.1 Mbps. This 8.6 Mbps download speed was 0.5 Mbps from the

MySpeed portal note in September. Tri data shows that Vodafone download Speed came in third with an average download speed of Mbps, which is higher than the previously reported 9.M Mbps. Airtel, on the other hand, has maintained an average download speed of 7.5 Mbps for two months.

Samsung 'The Sero' Rotating TV Launched in India: Price, Features

Samsung has introduced its own rotating TV for social media use in the Indian market, called the Cerro. The Siro can also rotate between horizontal and vertical tilt and uses Samsung's QLED technology. Samsung showed Cerro back in 2020 at the CES conference in Las Vegas. Samsung says Siro will be exclusively available at Reliance Digital stores in India.

Samsung's Sero: Specifications

The Cerro is a QLED display technology and the company has introduced a 43-inch version in India. It’s an LED TV with

quantum dots, and we’ve seen Samsung offer a variety of TVs with technology. QLEDs also rely on LED backlights for PXL, unlike an OLED where they emit light on their own.

The Cerro TV also comes with the company's Adaptive Picture + feature, which controls the lighting and, according to the company, analyzes video and surroundings to provide the best picture quality. It also relies on AI upscaling feature to promote low-resolution content in 4K quality. Which will allow the TV to blend in with the background of your room. Samsung says the Ciro can analyze the texture and color of the walls and adjust its screen to match the surroundings. It always has a display mode, and users can choose from a variety of backgrounds. Samsung says the Cerro is optimized for social media content, streaming services, and gaming. The screen can be rotated through remote control, voice commands, and smart things application from Samsung. The TV also has a 4.1ch 60W front-firing speaker.

Its portrait mode will allow customers to choose from a variety of stylish vertical backgrounds. It has a 3-in-one stand with 360-degree cleaning and removes clutter. To share content from their mobile on Cerro, users will just be able to tap on the bezel and the same will appear on the TV.

Invisible status on Facebook Messenger and Instagram; Letter reels and shop buttons

Instagram and Facebook Messenger are getting their own version of Aperture Messaging with the introduction of Vanish Mode. Snapchat's signature sometimes disappeared, although new versions of it exist on platforms including WhatsApp and Telegram. Instagram has also changed its homepage. The Reels tab, which was recently launched in India, is now being expanded globally, and a start button is also being added to the navigation bar and will push the notification button for preferences and comments in the upper-right corner of the homepage.

Facebook announced the withdrawal of Vanish mode in September. It is now coming to Messenger and Instagram and will allow users to send messages to the DM without staying in the chat history. You can swipe to an existing chat thread to turn on this feature. A simple second swipe can return you to regular chat mode. Facebook has noticed that people you connect with can only disappear in a chat. This does not apply to group chat, and will only work in private, one-on-one chat. Instagram already has a feature that allows users to send photos and videos that disappear once viewed, and adding Venetian mode to text also makes its messaging functionality similar to Snapchat.
