Fuel Prices Have Risen Again: In Delhi, The Retail Price Of Petrol is Rs 98 per liter; Check The Prices In Your City

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked once again on Thursday. Petrol price in Delhi has increased by 26 paise to Rs 97.76 per liter. Diesel prices have increased by 7 paise to Rs 88.30 per liter in the national capital.

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked once again on Thursday. Petrol price in Delhi has increased by 26 paise to Rs 97.76 per liter. Diesel prices have increased by 7 paise to Rs 88.30 per liter in the national capital.

In Mumbai, a liter of petrol costs Rs 103.89, and a liter of diesel is Rs 95.79. After the latest hike, petrol is now selling at Rs 8.8.88 per liter and diesel at Rs 2.89 per liter in Chennai.

Petrol has become costlier by Rs 6.6.63 per liter and diesel by Rs 91.15 per liter in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Rates have been increased across the country and the rates vary from state to state based on the value-added tax.

Earlier, Congress leaders and workers had held nationwide protests against the rising fuel prices in the country.

Due to rising global crude oil prices and dwindling supplies of the world's largest fuel US, the retail price of fuel in India is expected to rise further in the coming days. Benchmark Brent crude touched a multi-year high of billions of dollars on ICE or the Intercontinental Exchange.
