Reasons : Work From Home Is The Future Of Every Indian Company

With the Indian government relaxing terms and conditions to facilitate work from home (WFH) further, the COVID-19-induced trend is set to outlast the lockdown. It could well be one of the lasting takeaways from the global business lockdown. This work from home culture had remained un-adopted by many organisations in India but now after it has been practiced for more than two months, organisations are gladly accepting this change.

All together, work from home policy has created a new place in work culture which not only helps companies to get the work done by its employees but has also helped in employees in multiple ways. After we evaluated & researched, we found a few reasons that are legit, redirecting us as how work from home is the future.

It’s easier than ever.
You can be connected to the office every minute of every day if you want to, thanks to the Internet. The concept of working from home might have seemed outlandish 20 years ago, but this is the 21st century. You can find access to wifi almost anywhere, and tools like Zoom App and Meet can make remote communication a breeze.

Companies can hire the best, no matter where they are.
No office means the ability to work with anyone in the world. Online networks has capitalized on this concept by connecting top companies with the very best employees from all around the world.

Fewer sick days.
Colds and food poisoning make going into the office miserable, but working from home? Not so bad. Employees who are mildly sick can still get work done most of the time if it means not having to go into the office. Another bonus? No sharing illnesses.
So, rather than having either everybody works in the office policy or an everybody works from home one, look for a hybrid of the two.

Employee Productivity
Home-based workers had relatively lower stress levels because they did not need to commute daily. elimination of commutes enables relaxed lifestyles resulting in better quality of life. secondly, work from home means employees could dispense with the need to dress in formal, office attire- which also helped reduce time otherwise spent on preparing for the day’s work.

Eliminating Long Commutes
A reduction in the amount of time spent on a stressful and unpleasant commute is undoubtedly a benefit for employees, but it could also give your business a boost too.
The health and wellbeing of your workforce has proven links to productivity and a reduction in absenteeism. Whether it’s an hour and a half train ride or a 30-minute drive through rush hour traffic, this is time they’ll never get back. When working from home, an employee arrives fresh at their desk and raring to go.

A New York Times NYT article on “tomorrow’s workplace” just quoted RXR Realty Chief Executive and Chairman Scott Rechler as saying: “There could be A teams and B teams working [remotely] different days.” As companies become more global, and talent markets between countries merge, the need for office space will not only be a costly waste, but physically useless.
On the contrary, working from home looks easy and promising, but it requires a lot of hard work. You need to be disciplined, productive, and efficient in whatever it is that you do.

If you can maintain your focus, working from home could be the best decision you’ve ever made.
