Bala Quila Fort

This fort is situated in the Aravalli Ranges above the town of Alwar, built in the 15th century by Hasan Khan Mewati. Bala Quila means Young Fort. With a distance of 595 m, the massive fort is visible from the city itself. It gives a majestic view of the town as it is perched on a 300m high cliff which spreads over an area of 5 km from North to South and 1.6 km from East to West. It is an architectural piece of Indo-Islamic style. The walls are beautifully crafted which takes you back to the golden era. It has 6 gates and is finely crafted with ancient sculptures and scriptures. 

Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri

This place is a beautiful monument built by a king in the memory of his father and queen which had red sandstone and white marble cenotaph of the ruler of Alwar and his mistress who committed Sati after the King died. The monument has carved floral patterns and gold leaf paintings of mythological scenes. Chhatris are commonly used to depict the elements of pride and honor in the Rajput architecture of Rajasthan.

Garbhaji falls

This place is regarded as a beautiful and prettiest spot in Alwar which is surrounded by groves of trees, filled with chattering birds. These waterfalls are a sight to behold in the monsoon season. The waterfalls are located at a height and can be reached by climbing a flight of stairs. This makes for a perfect romantic getaway and an ideal spot for family picnics for people to unwind and rejuvenate. Naldeshwar Shrine

It is regarded as one of the most renowned spots in Alwar, which features a small shiva-linga that has been there for several centuries, In the 18th century, a temple was built in order to protect the shiva-linga, and the place was named as the Naldeshwar Shrine. Two naturally formed ponds with water running from the hills add grace to the setting. Spending some time in this solitary location brings peace and energy to your being.

Taal Vriksha



Around 20 km from the main city of Alwar, there is a hot water spring known as Talvriksha. Nestled in the lap of nature, amidst emerald-green forests with the hills in the backdrop, the place is a cozy picturesque spot to spend a few moments of solitude. The hot water spring is believed to cure many diseases as it has medicinal properties. This place is popular among ornithologists and trekkers.

Company Bagh

This place is beautiful and regarded as an aesthetic garden located in the heart of the city, adjacent to City Palace. The area has splendid lawns, well-trimmed gardens, and overall picturesque beauty. It is also regarded as Purjan vihar as it was named after Maharaja Jai Singh. Government Museum

This place was established in 1940. Housing a brilliant collection of paintings, frescoes, and artifacts, the museum boasts of the rich ancient heritage of the royal families. The museum also has exotic collections of ivory and lacquered work, Bidri and brass works, pottery, Persian manuscripts, and miniature paintings which is worth seeing.
