Tata Motors has launched its electric car Tigor EV in India. The Tigor EV is available for personal use and has the same design as the BS6 Tigor. The engine of Tata Tigor Ziptron EV produces 55 kW of peak power output and 170 Nm of peak torque. This car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. It uses a 26 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Also, the IP 67 rated battery pack and motor have been installed to make the Tigor EV weatherproof. The car also comes with a battery and motor warranty of 8 years and 160,000 km. The design of the car is based on a platform with a rear crash structure and has also met the ODB 64 test standard.

The car will be 80 percent charged in 1 hour

The new Tata Tigor EV can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 1 hour with the fast charger. Whereas in-home charging, this car will be charged from 0 to 80 percent in about 8.5 hours. It can be charged from 15A sockets, which are easily available in our home and office.

Better in terms of safety

The company is giving excellent safety features in Tata Tigor EV. Features like hill ascent, hill descent control, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and CSC i.e. cornering stability control are being provided in this. Apart from this, the car will be equipped with an IP67 rated battery pack and motor. Tata Motors claims that the new Tigor EV will now be the safest electric sedan in the country.
