Unlimited Bugs In Mitron App Has Still No Drop In Google Ratings, Here Is Why!

Mitron App, which gives a tough competition to TikTok, is becoming increasingly popular in India. Meanwhile, a big flaw has been revealed about the app, due to which hackers are accessing the accounts of the users. Cybersecurity researcher Rahul Konkrale told that a flaw has come to light in friends, through which hackers (Hackers) can control the user's account. Also, you can message anyone from the account.

Not only this, but attackers can also follow others using a hacked account and can also access activities like comments. Expert Konkrale says that this flaw in the Mitron app is only present in the initial login process, from where hackers take access to the user's account without knowing the password and without any verification process.

The Mitron app is not built in India, but purchased from a Pakistani software developer Qboxus. A report has revealed this. However, due to being called an Indian-origin app, it is being downloaded extensively in India. An interesting thing associated with the name of Mitron is that this word is often spoken many times by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mitron also means friends and somewhere it will also make people feel like being a native app. But now new reports are claiming that the Friends app is actually a rebranded version of the TikTok app, which was created by a Pakistani developer named Qboxus.

Irfan Shaikh, founder, and CEO of Qboxus told that he sold the app's source code to Mitron's manufacturer for $ 34, or about Rs 2,500. Sheikh further explained that his company sells source code, which allows buyers to customize the app. He said in Network 18, (translated) "What the developer has done is not a problem. He has paid for the script and used it, which is fine. But, the problem is with those who are calling it an Indian-made app, which is not completely true, as the developers have not made any changes to the app. ”

The identity of the makers of Mitron is still unconfirmed, although the report states that it was made by a student of IIT Roorkee. The Mitron app developer web page on Google Play leads to a website shopkiller.in, which is a blank page.

The app also does not have any kind of privacy policy, so those who are signing up for it and uploading their videos - have no idea what is being done with their data. If seen permissions sought by the app, these are many.

According to most reviews received by the app, the actual experience of this app is replete with bugs. The surprising thing is that users reporting bugs have given the app a high rating in the review and the reason behind it is that the app is Indian. So, now that the app has been purchased from a Pakistani developer, it can definitely lead to a drop in ratings.
