With New RSVP Features, Google Will Now Let You Plan Better Video Meetings

“Both the organizers and the guest can see the details in the program on how the participants are planning to attend the meeting. It helps meeting attendees know what to expect while attending the meeting and can prepare accordingly,” Google said in a blog post.

The new RSVP feature will initially be available in Google Calendar and will soon be available for calendar invites in Gmail. “If you make use of new RSVP options, log in details (such as" Sign in virtually ") will not be shared with contacts on other platforms, like Microsoft Outlook."

Meanwhile, participants' Google Meet video calls can now be easily viewed by users who have raised their hands with a new icon. If you raise your hand to speak during a Meet video call, Google automatically detects when you're done and then automatically lowers your hand during that call. SSo if you forget to turn off the "Raise your hand" option, Google will do so automatically so that other participants can continue with the meeting.. This update will be available for corporate users and other GSuite subscribers. This feature may not be available to free Google Account holders at this time.

Also, Google has recently made a major change in the user interface for Google Meet video call. The new user interface aims to make settings and functions more easily accessible. There is a new bottom bar that is always visible during calls. This way, you can easily access all the options without having to look in the settings.
