17-Yrs-Old Engineering Student Sets An Example By Pursuing Entrepreneurship As An Internship

Most of us work hard to earn a reputable degree and pursue a career in the same field, but only a few with an entrepreneurial mindset succeed in achieving the necessary change in society. Prajal Regmi of Sikkim is an engineering student, but instead of doing an internship, he follows the path of entrepreneurship at such a tender age.

Prajal grew up in a humble family and has always been a fan of entrepreneurs. His models were Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani, he was supposed to be an entrepreneur. He was educated with the mindset of revolutionary change in society and did just that. After completing his academic studies, he became acquainted with the creative side of Sikkim in his college days. She soon fell in love with talents such as singers, dancers, musicians, and rapists.

Prajal makes some strong connections from his college circle and started hosting events to promote local artists from Northeast India. He is also in the clothing business launching his own clothing brand, Ripra. It all started when he saw the tremendous wave of talent among Northeast musicians and poets, he felt an urgency of entrepreneurship to promote these talents.

He started having conversations with artists from his college circle and inviting them for an open microphone. The initiative resulted in gaining the necessary appreciation. People, especially the young audience, started talking about it and it quickly became a popular thing to do for college students.

The northeastern provinces have several singers, rapists, dancers, and poets. Talenthouse had no platform before Prajal took over. Prajal proved to be one of the most influential personalities in Sikkim. With the money he earned from the adventure, they did not spend on unnecessary luxury things, such as a car, a bicycle, etc. Like any other student. Instead, she launched her own clothing brand under the name Ripra, which produces better-quality T-shirts with gorgeous designs.

Pursuing an entrepreneur at such a tender age is not an easy path, but Prajal works hard every day to make it happen. Not just northeast India, but entire countries will need many more young people like Prajal to improve their socioeconomic performance.
