Initially, I poked fun at her, hoping to see her cute, angry side. But instead of anger, I witnessed her patience, and it left me intrigued. What made her so strong? That's when she began talking about BTS.

At first, I dismissed them, believing they couldn't sing well in English. My favourite band was Coldplay at the time. However, BTS shattered my preconceptions when they collaborated with Coldplay on "My Universe." It was a musical revelation. On November 25th, 2021, I officially joined the BTS fandom.

What drew me in was Taehyung's voice, hauntingly familiar from my favourite K-drama OST, "Hwarang." I initially mistook it for Park Hyung-sik's voice, but I later discovered Taehyung's true identity. My bestie asked me to choose a bias, and though I was initially drawn to Jungkook's funny antics, I accidentally selected Taehyung as my bias. It was the best accident I've ever had.

I ventured into K-pop in 2014 through K-dramas and became a fan of another boy band. Then, in 2021, I found out I was pregnant with my first child. One day, as I listened to K-pop songs at random, I stumbled upon BTS's "Dynamite." To my amazement, it was during this moment that my baby kicked for the first time, seemingly responding to the infectious beat and joyous energy of the song.

From that day onward, listening to BTS, especially "Dynamite," became a cherished part of my daily routine. Gradually, I transformed from a casual listener into a full-fledged ARMY. It has been two years since I joined the BTS fandom, and one year since I connected with other ARMYs who became my closest friends. In this community, I found my soulmate, my besties, who, along with my original friends, 

helped me heal. Today, my son and I are both proud ARMYs.
