Mama & Peaches was born in 2017 as a subscription box business enterprise for anticipating new moms. The luxury containers became very famous, but the version became no longer scalable, and the organization couldn’t get past 1,000 subscribers a month.

The founders, husband-wife duo Varun and Tanya Ghai, had been seeking out alternatives to survive and thrive. We set out on a mission to create, procure, and acquire the first-class product mix for them and have no longer regarded our lower backs, "says Tanya, Co-founder of Mama & Peaches.

In April 2019, Mama & Peaches launched an eCommerce vertical.

The Delhi-based startup is an online platform that enables dads and moms to discover secure, environmentally friendly, and fine mom-and-baby products. The platform began with 10 products and now has over 7,500 SKUs priced between Rs 199 and Rs 1.25 lakh. That merchandise is either curated from different brands or manufactured via the startup.
" Our list and freeing manner may be very stringent and strict."

"I cannot provide something to customers that I would not purchase as a mother myself," says Tanya, who is a Delhi University graduate. Prior to Mama & Peaches, Tanya worked as an M&A associate at Eternus Capital, while Varun dealt with his own family clothing manufacturing enterprise with 1,000+ staff and an annual turnover of Rs 300 crore.

Varun says the startup goes in for testing, endless tryouts, and customer feedback well before launching any product.

"All 100% of our income comes from our online platform. We've currently delivered to our revenue circulation through commencing an experience studio in Hauz Khas and are venturing into omnichannel retail, "he adds.

The startup’s design group creates every product in-house, from inception to manufacturing.
We deal with third-party vendors/factories for manufacturing and often deliver fabric and specs consistent with our requirements. "we are presently jogging with 10–15 factories across outstanding product training," Tanya says.

Products synthetic by means of the startup are offered under the labels Mama & Peaches and Bam Bam Boo (private label).
Mama & Peaches also resells other D2C brands such as Joie Toddler, Nuna, Mustela, and Boing on its platform and calls itself a "hybrid platform".
We only onboard incredibly selective and well-researched producers that we agree with and offer secure and established products.

"We are looking to boost Rs 3.99 crore to Rs 4 crore and have the desire to deploy it in product development, tech enhancement, and experiential retailing," Tanya says.

By the end of August 2022, Mama & Peaches had completed 30,000 orders across India. It earned Rs 25 lakh in FY19, Rs 60 lakh in FY20, Rs 1.05 crore in FY21, and Rs 2.05 crore in FY22.

"For the subsequent six months, we anticipate the gross income of Rs 2.25 crore, with a mean increase rate of approximately eight%." "we're on the right music to close the modern financial yr with annual earnings of over Rs 5 crore," Tanya reports.

As a result, we anticipate

The childcare products marketplace in India, in particular the mom and child care market, is anticipated to boom at $26.35 billion, at a CAGR of 11% at some stage in the time period 2020–2025, consistent with a document via Technavio.

We're focused on taking pictures of a huge percentage of our area of interest. Given that new-age Indian parents suppose in another way, we see a large opportunity in this area of new child purchasing and gifting "it is our purpose to beautify and innovate inside our domains so that our clients can enjoy a global-elegance shopping enjoy to revel in," Varun says.
