Unfortunately, my cousin also passed away last night after battling for life for days. My bua (aunt) is still very very critical & is on life support.
Three or four members of the notorious ‘Kale Kachhewala’ gang attacked the family while they were sleeping on the terrace of their house at Pathankot’s Thariyal village in Punjab. Police had lodged an FIR under the sections of 460, 459, and 458 of IPC at Shapur Kandi Police Station. They have formed various teams to continue the investigation from different sources. Raids have also been carried out in different places like Gurdaspur, Tran Taran, and Amritsar in coordination with local police. The DGP said that CCTVs of the area have been checked. The investigation has so far suggested that the accused had planned to rob or trespass three other houses in the neighborhood. He also added that similar cases in Punjab are also being checked whether the criminals are in or out.
