They say that some people are born to do something different in the society and they want to do something on their own, only then they are able to satisfy their soul.
Once a 19-year-old man who, regardless of his father's advice, made his move into the field of business and started by laying the foundation of "VRL Logistics Company".
We are talking about Vijay Sankeshwar fro Karrnatka, who replaced his father's ancestral business with his own hard-earned busines as a successful industrialist. They call him Transport King.

Vijay Sankeshwar was born in a prosperous family in Gadag city in the state of North Karnataka. As he finished his studies, he was pressurized to take care of his ancestral business with his father but Vijay had no interest in it. He was not satisfied & thought of doing something different on his own without any help from his family. He borrowed money & started his business with one truck. Today, he has a convoy of about 4300 heavy vehicles running the business.

After discovering a lot of potential for new business, Vijay realized a lot of possibilities in the transport sector. After the long running survey was completed in 1976, he first bought a truck and started his own company called VRL Logistics. Vijay Sankeshwar gradually expanded his company's business to Karnataka and Hubli as time changed. Later in 1983, he changed the name of his company to Vijayanand Roadlines Private Limited.

Bus Services
By 1990, he made his company successful  with a turnover of more than Rs 4 crores for the year, besides he started offering courier services and with time, he emerged in front of everyone by becoming a big industrialist. After seeing the success of his company, Vijay Sankeshwar never looked back and always far sighted. Soon after the courier service, he started his move with the passenger bus service. Initially 4 buses covered 8 states at 75 routes and today there are more than 500 settled in their convoys.

Own Newspaper
Not only the bus service but he started his own newspaper as well. Vijay Sankeshwar remained the monopoly owner of the Vijaya Karnataka newspaper until 2007, before Vijaya Karnataka newspaper merged (merged) with the Times group in Karnataka. This newspaper used to be the largest selling newspaper in the state of Karnataka. This newspaper used to be sold in the name of Vijay Vani among people all over the state of Karnataka.

Stepped into politics
Vijay Sankeshwar, who runs his business, was not limited to becoming an industrialist, but he also made his move in politics for public welfare. He first joined the BJP party, later he left the BJP party to form his own party and named the separate party he created as Kannada Nadu Party. He was also elected to MP from North Dharwad. Later, he joined Yeddyurappa's BJP-backed party, and the Karnataka Janata Paksha, which has joined the BJP party today.

Airline brand launch
Vijay Sankeshwar's son has started working on a project to further expand his father's business manifold in the coming years and has started working on his own airline brand with an initial investment of Rs 1,300 crore.

Today, Vijay Sankeshwar has become the owner of over 4000 crores on his own journey from the age of 16 to 66 years. His achievements and segments of product are truly unimaginable & inspiring for everyone.
