Sleeping till midnight has become so common in our generation that early to bed and early to rise schedule seems a dream for us. No matter how much we try, sleep is never coming easy. As most of us eat our dinner early from 8-10 pm we need something else to eat till 12pm because we have digested our dinner till that time.
Bedtime eating has always been considered bad by many people because they lack the knowledge of healthy snack options available easily at our homes. There are so many options to choose from depending upon your choice and taste. Whatever the option you choose, it should generally be high on proteins and high fiber carbs to keep your stomach free of hunger pangs for a longer time and at the same time make you sleepy. 

So if you are confused about what to eat at night and not to worry about gaining weight at the same time, we have gathered some options for you which we hope you would love to try.

1.Popcorn

Popcorn is the easiest to get daily and have it by your bedside at ease. It has a crunchy and addicting effect that you can it nonstop but you don’t have to worry because it is so low on fats that you can easily eat 2-3 bowls at a time without worrying about gaining weight. 

2.Dryfruit and nuts

This option is as healthy as tasty. Nuts are rich in essential fats and proteins which are excellent for our health. They do not need to be cooked or prepared so that makes it the easiest one to get your hands on. They have beneficial effects on our health as they reduce inflammation and the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. But remember to eat a handful at a time and not the whole packet because the excess of everything is bad. 

3.Fruits

Fruits are the healthiest option as a snack. If you are conscious about your health then this option is best for you. No matter what time of the day it is, just grab a banana or watermelon or whatever is available in your fridge. 

4.Low-fat cottage cheese

If you are on a diet but often feel hungry before sleeping then we have got you covered. Cottage cheese is low on fats and is a blessing for insomniacs. The lean protein it contains helps release serotonin in our brain which helps burn your fat. So it’s a kind of burning your fat while you sleep and that you would love to happen.

5. Cheese and crackers

Recently this new snack idea was given by some people and everybody loved it. It’s the kind of snack you would love to make at night without the need for cooking. Get your favorite whole wheat cracker, top it up with cheese slices and stuff it with some tomatoes, cucumber, or anything else you like. It is as tasty as easy.
