Vi Working On A Fix Kept Doing The Rounds On Social Media

Poor connectivity is made customers took it to social media and raised the issue against Vodafone and Idea. The company recently changed its logo and name to Vi. Many memes and creative punchlines were created by social media bloggers to show their dissatisfaction against the coveted network provider. A number of users in the state of Maharashtra and especially in the city of Pune, Nashik, and Nagpur. A Vi user tweeted, “No network signal on Vi since last night. Just spoke to the customer care and the person informed there is an outage in Maharashtra due to yesterday’s rain and it may take 6 more hours to fix it."

The users were facing this problem since Wednesday night and it didn't get resolved till Thursday afternoon and this led to the social media pounding. It started from Pune and then users from Nashik and Nagpur too joined. What happened next is no less than a joke as twitter with filled with memes like Tu Hain Ki Nahi from the movie Roy. N number of such memes kept doing the round on social media. This led Vi to respond and they said that the issue will be resolved shortly. Finally, by Thursday evening, the problem got sorted but consumers had a tough time and they made it tough for Vi as well. 

Social Media Wins The Battle

The network was not there still people found out ways to troll Vi and mind you the pounding was hard. Memes and jokes kept floating on social media and the telecom ministry too had to jump in. The new-age social media users are difficult to get rid of. Customers faced major issues with voice calls and internet connectivity. In the last few days, heavy rains have taken its toll online and this was the reason why network connectivity was not proper. 

Finally on Thursday Eve Vi informed that the issue has been finally resolved and that it is sorry that its loyal customers had to suffer. This also comes in the wake of heavy rains that Pune had last night. Hopefully, some new news may make rounds as this news is done and dusted as of now.
